I had seen an article about William on one of the news internet sites and then bought his book whilst down in South Africa over Christmas.

Last night I was really moved to tears as he describes how he and other Malawians suffered during the famine and droughts in 2002.  I cannot even begin to imagine what the hunger he describes could actually feel like.

Besides the hardship, the story is about a remarkable young man who is now making a difference in his community.  A real inspiration.  It would be great if you could support him by buying his book or donating to his Moving Windmills project, where he is helping his community to rebuild schools etc.  You can read about it under the link - I know that there are so many people out there and one often feels one does not know where to start.  I just share this story with you.  http://www.williamkamkwamba.typepad.com
